Emo Kids Need To Know This – You Have Emo Hair – Now Get Emo Flair
Do you feel like an outcast because you are different? Your ideas and mindsets may be unusual in the eyes of others, but that makes you who you are, right! If we were all cast from the same stone it would make for one horribly boring place to reside. I would want to stop the world and get off too.
Take the word Emo, it raises so many doubts in peoples minds. If you are Emo, they automatically think that you must be doing terrible things to yourself and wallowing in self pity. You must only ever wear black and you must have Emo Hair too. This is not the case at all, so some of you need to wake up and smell the roses. The only problem here is that the word Emo has been misconstrued and turned into a fashion style when it was only ever a style of music. It is much like the term Punk. Punk Rock was a style of music that I liked when I was a teenager but I did not get called a Punk.
Fashion trends need a shakeup sometimes, we will always see signs of yesteryear coming back onto the scene. Teenagers are now wanting to redecorate their own bedrooms in themes that make them comfortable. Emo, Punk & Gothic have all been around, it is nothing new, but I do not think we have spent as much time in the past,
emphasizing it in our personal space. We have spent more time creating a visual image in the way that we wear our makeup and do our hair, on what clothes we wear and how we act. So why can’t you turn your bedroom into a visual display as well. You want it to say something about you without you actually having to say anything at all. You want to be the envy of all of your friends as well.
